Forage Fine Foods is run by Liz Knight, a country living, greedy thirty something mother of 3 children, who has had to learn to cook one handed and eat in a hurry but still loves playing with her food...

A life long love of cooking and eating food and passion for all things wild, mixed with few valuable years working within a day centre, learning from older country people about our fantastic pre world war 2 food culture has led to Forage, a celebration of the wonderful plants & ingredients that grow around Britain. Liz aims to rekindle a love affair with those wonderful flavours we've forgotten about.

Liz's passion for celebrating the best of our food heritage has been said to be 'joyous' She was described in school as being infectious and she still has a knack to excite and enthuse. When not blending herbs and spices, picking petals or chasing after a small child with a toothbrush, Liz runs workshops on rural food skills and leads forages and demonstrations sharing her products and recipes with audiences. Give her a bowl, some ingredients and a mike and you'll have fun and learn something along the way! If you would like Liz to lead a walk, talk or give a demo at your event, please contact Forage for a chat....

Liz is the wild food course tutor at Humble By Nature in Monmouthshire, once a month she leads a foraging and food day with chef Kather Marland; from spring time gathering herbs, to making incredible Christmas mincemeats (featured in the Telegraph Magazine)
